Play Review: Father of the Angels

The events portrayed in "Father Of The Angels" span across a three day period in Palestine in the summer of 1944. The play tells the tale of the rising tensions between the secular Zionists and the ultra-Orthodox community then living in Palestine, both bent on establishing their form of The Jewish Home land. The material in this play is still emotionally charged and passionately addictive fifty years and thousands of miles away from Palestine.

Film Reveiw: Mad City

The film is sustained mainly by its message of how fickle public opinion really is. Thanks to a relatively brisk pace, it only takes a matter of moments for an event to occur, so that a choice needed to be made a moment ago may not be an option a moment later.
