An overwhelming success! These are the words to describe last Thursday's Chanukah Concert. Over 1000 people filled Lamport Auditorium to dance and sing for nearly three hours. Many thanks to our musical guests Dedi, MBD, Besamim, and the Neginah Orches
tra for the amazing show. A special thanks to Howie Mazin and David Schreiber and SCWSC for the many hours they spent organizing the evening. Also thanks to facilities management, security and student services for their assistance. Lastly a special thank
you to Rabbi Johnny Krug for being here to assist us.
As we close the semester I would like to thank the student body for taking part in Student Council activities and helping to make the past few months eventful ones. Come next semester look for more events sponsored by YCSC, including the annual Super
Bowl Bash catered by Dougies.
On behalf of YCSC I would like to welcome the new YC assistant Dean Dr. Joyce Jesionowski. I recently had the pleasure to meet Dr. Jesionowski and look forward to working with her in the coming semester.
Signs are currently up for yearbook pictures in the Rubin and Morg lobbies. Seniors don't forget to sign up and be a part of Masmid 98. Also, many clubs have been active in recent weeks, such as the Chabad Club, English Honors Society, and Sigma Delt
a Rho. Keep watching the bulletin boards for constant events and programs. Don't forget to pick up a copy of the Spires literary magazine.
Congratulations to the Yeshiva College Dramatics Society on their 65th production, Ghetto. For those who had the opportunity to see the show, it was a magnificent performance.
In closing I would like to wish everyone a Chag Sameach and best of luck on finals!
