Supporting Lamm

The disagreement over the activities of the Neeman Commission is a debate within the camp of Torah committed Jews, of which both Rabbi Svei and Rabbi Lamm are members. Such debates should be conducted within the confines of the beit midrash (st udy hall) and not in the press. Moreover, the vitriol expressed by Rabbi Svei is uncalled for in any setting.

I recently had the opportunity to read Adam Moses’ editorial opinion in the 7 Shevat 5758 issue of the Commentator. Let me preface my remarks by saying that I am a student of Rabbi Svei, and as you can well imagine I see the matters which you a ddress in a somewhat different light.
