[Rav Tendler Sings] Saying, "The heilege shver told me to do it," Rabbi Moshe Dovid Tendler, MYP Rosh Yeshiva and rabbi of Congregation Holy Roller, resigned his positions yesterday to "pick up a guitar, turn on, and reach out to my fellow Jews." Following in the distinguished footsteps of such Jewish luminaries as Shlomo Carlebach, David Rappaport, and the Beastie Boys, Tendler plans to use his musical talents to "embrace all of my holy Reform and Conservative brethren."
