YUDS WINS AGAIN! 100% Takeback: The YU Debate Society was victorious this past Wednesday night at a PFD (Public Forum Debate League) impromptu tournament at Queens College. Participating teams included Queens, YU, Rockland and NYU. Sarah Friedman won first place, Team captain Elan Weinreb was awarded second place, and Oura Brandwein took home third place.

RAFFLE: Raffle with proceeds going to Tomchei Shabbos-help pay for sedarim for poor families. Just $5 a ticket. Buy Tickets from Aharon Keller, Ru 719, Ben Gerstman, Mo 420, Danny Cohen, Mu 362. Raffle to be held on Sunday March 28th.

SHABBAT HAGADOL: March 26-27, Parshat Ztav. Come spend shabbat with Rav Melech Schachter and Rav Hershel Schachter in commemoration of the Rav's sixth yartzeit. Rav Yosef Blau will give the Shabbat Hagadol Drasha. Rav Melech Schachter and Rav Hershel Schachter will speak on Inyanei Pesach at the hot cholent tish. Sponsored by the Office of Student Services. Coordinated by the Office of Guidance and Student life.

YUCS: There will be a course in web page creation and design starting Monday, April 12, at 9:00 pm in Room 418 of the Midtown Center. Please contact Chaya Greenspan at greenspa@yucs.org if you are interested in attending.

YUCS: Eric Goldberg, CEO of Crossover Technologies and renowned game developer, will be speaking Monday, April 19, at 8:00pm in the Ivry Student Center in Schottenstein Hall (Midtown). The event should be of interest to game developers and game players alike. Business attire is strongly discouraged. Van service will be available from the Uptown campus - please watch for details after Pesach.

OPCS: There will be an Education Career Forum taking place on Wednesday, March 24, 1999 at 8:00 PM at the Midtown Center Campus in Room 518. A NYC Board of Education representative will be speaking about requirements and opportunities for undergraduates interested in such positions as: Speech & Hearing Specialist, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Special Education. This workshop is open to all students and majors. A van will be leaving the YU Bookstore at 7:45 p.m.

Commencement: If you are a graduating senior, please come by the Office of Student Services located in Furst Hall, Room 419 to pick up your invitations for Commencement '99. It is important to note that the invitations are to announce your forthcoming graduation to family and friends and ARE NOT TICKETS to enter the theater at Madison Square Garden. Tickets for graduation will be distributed on May 5th and May 6th along with your caps and gowns.
