![]() Akiva MarcusCandidate for Senior Class Vice PresidentI would like to take this opportunity to share my platform and some of the issues that I will deal with as vice-president. They include: a fun and inexpensive senior dinner; a yearbook we'd be proud to look at in twenty years; more entertaining trips; discounts for YU students at New York restaurants; computers and microwaves on each floor in the dorm; better, cheaper caf food; online and phone registration. As vice president, I will not just talk about what I plan to do - I will do them for I am a doer and not just a talker. Over the past years I've been active in many clubs including Sigma Delta Rho, the Journal Club and the astronomy club. I've worked for the SOY Seforim Sale, blood drives and peer tutoring. I've also held many leadership positions, notably as lieutenant of the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corp. There, I received numerous service awards, including the Teaneck distinguished service award and the award for meritorious service. This Thursday, vote for someone who will get things done, someone who has
proven to work hard for those he represents and works for. Vote for someone
who knows what responsibility is. Let me serve you, the senior class, as I have
served my community and school.
