The article by Nechama Soloveichik about her grandmother was very moving. It is also worth note that the late Rebbetzin Ella Shurin Soloveichik a"h, who was the wife of Rav Aaron Soloveichik, yb"l, was a great melumedet, as her granddaughter mentioned. She also lived in Washington Heights before Chicago, where, besides raising her children, she helped care for her mother-in-law, Rebbetzin Pesia Soloveichik a"h.
