Feelings
By David Wildman
Just left the restaurant,
Having a rough day.
My girlfriend left me,
With no delay.
She told me I was not,
The man she once knew.
She told me I changed,
My face turned blue.
She said she hated me,
A whole song and dance.
She walked away from me,
Not one backwards glance.
I feel angry,
Even ashamed.
According to her,
I’m the one to be blamed.
So down the alley,
I walk and pout.
But I know in the end,
It’ll all work out.
