Message from Yeshiva College Alumni Association
by Joshua Annenberg, Esq., YC ’89, CSL ’93, President Yeshiva College Alumni Association and Stuart Verstandig, YC ’80, FGS ’83, RIETS ’84, Immediate Past President, Yeshiva College Alumni Association

On behalf of the Yeshiva College Alumni Association, representing in excess of 7,000 graduates of Yeshiva College, we extend a Mazel Tov to Mr. Richard Joel on his election as President of Yeshiva University and CEO of RIETS.

Mr. Joel inherits a world-renowned university from Rabbi Dr. Norman Lamm in which Torah and secular scholarship are mutually valued, respected, and integrated.  We, therefore, thank Dr. Lamm for his vision and tireless dedication to our alma mater and wish him much Hatzlacha in his new role as Chancellor of Yeshiva University and his continued role as Rosh HaYeshiva of RIETS.

President-elect Joel’s steadfast commitment to the Jewish community and Yeshiva University, in particular, is exemplified by his charismatic leadership of Hillel and his prior affiliation with YU as Director of Alumni Affairs and Associate Dean of Cardozo School of Law.

The Yeshiva College Alumni Association looks forward to working with President-elect Joel to strengthen and enhance our bond with Yeshiva University and its students.
